Mike & Ronda's The Place Restaurant East: Reviews & Ratings
We're from out of town and stopped for breakfast on a whim. We were absolutely delighted with the coffee, food, and service! The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were MASSIVE and good but more roll like then biscuit like. Everything we had was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. I do wish they had real half and half instead of Coffee Mate but it wasn't a big deal. Definitely recommend?
We stopped there after leaving Phoenix early as we were headed to Monument Valley. Looking for a good breakfast place and boy did we find it. I love corn, beef, hash, and I’m very picky about it.. The server, Karisa, said it was homemade as everything on the menu is. I was not disappointed. This was very flavorful, not fatty, delicious corn, beef. My husband had a basic breakfast and loved every bite. I highly recommend this restaurant for a good breakfast, comfortable atmosphere and great service.
I had the breakfast burrito with tomato, sausage and spinach and it was excellent. I’m not sure about the biscuits. They aren’t southern style but more of a slightly underbaked soft bun. Not bad though. The other guests seemed to relish them.
Great little restaurant. Try the biscuits and gravy. The locals know this place well. Fair prices. Great people. The biscuits are HUGE!
This is our our go-to place every time we are in town or headed to and from Powell. Locals come here. The people are welcoming and friendly. The biscuits are HUGE! Fair prices. See you next time!
This diner is fantastic! The food is delicious and the service is top-notch. It's got such a cozy atmosphere, too. Definitely will be one of my favorite spots to stop when in town.
Great comfort food! Giant portions if you want to consider splitting something. Power went out while we were eating, so we were urged to hurry and leave, but in a nice way. Service was just okay. Server never checked on us after dropping off food. Power outage didn’t allow us for a refill or credit card pay and Manager didn’t offer a discount or try to make it right in any way. Lots of interaction with each other and none with the customers. Only reason I gave it 4 stars. Good otherwise!
